My goal
To excersize longer without shortness of breath, I will improve my cardiovascular endurance through jogging 3 days per week, increasing distance from 1.5Km to 2.5 KM over two weeks while maintaining a 70-80% MHR.
What are SMART goals, and how is mine SMART?
Specific
Goals have to be specific to prevent us from going off-course.
My boal is specific because I specified the
Measurable
Goals need to be measurable to determine whether or not it
is achieved objectivly
My goal is measurable because I included specific heart rate
ranges and distance.
Achievable
A goal must be achievable. Otherwise, it cannot be considered a goal
My goal is achievable because I could run 1.7 km continous before
this project (It is too challenging to start at at a tri-weekly frequency)
Relevant
Goals need to be relevant to us and what we want to improve
My boal is relevant because I've identified the need of cardiovascular
endurance and focused on it.
Time bound
Goals meed to have a time limit to prevent the "do it tomorrow" loop
My goal is time bound because I specified the total project time of 2 weeks.
